Inspired by a 1930s teacup and saucer reminiscent of the traditional ‘Harmony Cup’, our Robin Bowl features the same inward-tilting design. Adorned with charming robins and vibrant zigzag acacia, it complements the blue cloud pattern beautifully. The playful robins add a delightful touch to your dining table. Crafted from high-quality porcelain clay, fired with semi-matte glaze, and finished with high-quality ceramic transfers. Craftsmanship process Our ware undergoes a meticulous three-stage firing process. Initially, we press the moulded clay body and fire it with a semi-matte, lightly speckled eggshell glaze. The second largest piece in the collection is hand-sprayed inside with glaze, followed by two careful layers of spray on the exterior to achieve a smooth, creamy finish. Artisans then meticulously hand-transfer the screen-printed pattern around the bowl, followed by firing. Illustrations are added and the bowl is fired once more to complete the process. Design Our cute Robin Bowl resembles a traditional Chinese teacup, the Harmony Cup, with an inward-tilting edge and elevated foot. Two sides of the bowl are adorned with adorable robins looking in different directions. Birds and flowers are framed in ‘half windows’ shaped by a thin porcelain blue cloud pattern around the rest of the bowl.
