Description Ventolin 100Mcg Evohaler contains salbutamol sulfate, a short-acting beta2-agonist bronchodilator. The “100Mcg” indicates that each actuation (puff) delivers 100 micrograms of salbutamol. The “Evohaler” refers to the type of inhaler, which is a pressurized metered-dose inhaler (pMDI) that delivers a consistent dose of medication with each puff. Salbutamol works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, which widens the breathing passages and allows air to flow more easily into and out of the lungs. This helps to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing in people with asthma and other respiratory conditions. Ventolin 100Mcg Evohaler is primarily used for: Relieving acute asthma symptoms (rescue medication). Preventing exercise-induced asthma. Relieving bronchospasm in other reversible airway obstruction conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Ventolin 100Mcg Evohaler provides rapid relief from asthma symptoms and other breathing difficulties caused by airway narrowing. It is a portable and convenient inhaler for on-the-go use. Directions for use: Always use Ventolin 100Mcg Evohaler exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose for relieving sudden asthma symptoms is one or two puffs as needed. For preventing exercise-induced asthma, the usual dose is two puffs 15-30 minutes before exercise. Follow the instructions provided with your inhaler on how to prime and use it correctly. This typically involves shaking the inhaler well, exhaling fully, placing the mouthpiece in your mouth, starting to inhale slowly and deeply while pressing down on the canister to release a puff, and then holding your breath for as long as comfortable (usually about 10 seconds) before exhaling slowly. Wait about one minute between puffs if more than one puff is prescribed. Clean your inhaler regularly as instructed. Important Information: Ventolin is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor if you have any allergies to salbutamol or any other ingredients in the inhaler. Disclose your medical history, particularly if you have heart problems (such as irregular heartbeat or high blood pressure), overactive thyroid, or diabetes. Using too much Ventolin or using it too often can have side effects. Common side effects may include shakiness, nervousness, rapid heartbeat, and headache. If your asthma symptoms do not improve or worsen after using Ventolin, or if you need to use it more frequently than usual, seek medical attention immediately. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, as interactions can occur, especially with other bronchodilators or beta-blockers. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature away from direct heat or freezing. The canister is under pressure and should not be punctured or incinerated, even when empty.
