Description Aldactone 100mg 10 Tablets contain spironolactone, a potassium-sparing diuretic. It is used to treat fluid retention (edema) associated with heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease. It is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and hyperaldosteronism (a condition in which the body produces too much aldosterone). Uses: Treatment of edema (fluid retention) associated with heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease. Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Treatment of hyperaldosteronism. Dosage and Administration: The dosage of Aldactone 100mg varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient’s response. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water. It can be taken with or without food. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully. Warnings: Do not use if you are allergic to spironolactone or any of the other ingredients. Do not use if you have severe kidney problems or hyperkalemia (high potassium levels).
