Novorapid Flexpen 5X3ml

$41.3 $78.06
Description Novorapid Flexpen 5X3Ml is a pre-filled insulin pen containing insulin aspart, a rapid-acting insulin analog. Insulin aspart is a synthetic form of human insulin that starts working faster and has a shorter duration of action compared to regular human insulin. This allows for more flexible mealtime dosing, as it can be injected shortly before or even after starting a meal. Novorapid is used to lower blood sugar in adults and children with diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2). It is often used in combination with longer-acting insulin preparations to provide comprehensive blood sugar control throughout the day and night. The “Flexpen” indicates that the insulin is contained in a convenient, pre-filled, disposable pen device for easy injection. The “5X3Ml” signifies that the pack contains 5 Flexpens, each containing 3 milliliters of Novorapid solution. Novorapid Flexpen is a rapid-acting insulin analog indicated for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in adults and children. Its rapid onset allows for flexible mealtime dosing. Directions for use: Novorapid Flexpen is injected subcutaneously (under the skin) shortly before (0-15 minutes) or after starting a meal. The dosage is individualized and will be determined by your doctor based on your blood glucose levels, dietary intake, and physical activity. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully regarding when and how much to inject. Each Flexpen is designed to be used with NovoFine or NovoTwist needles (not included). Always use a new needle for each injection to prevent contamination. Prime the pen before the first injection of each new pen as instructed in the product manual. Important Information: Novorapid Flexpen is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to insulin aspart or any other ingredients in Novorapid. Tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have kidney or liver problems. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is a potential side effect of all insulin products. Be aware of the symptoms of low blood sugar, which may include sweating, shakiness, confusion, dizziness, and hunger. Always have a source of fast-acting sugar available to treat hypoglycemia. Hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) can also occur if you miss a dose or do not inject enough insulin. Know the symptoms of high blood sugar, such as increased thirst, frequent urination, and fatigue. Certain medications can affect blood sugar control when used with insulin; inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements. Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels is essential while using Novorapid. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully regarding storage. Typically, unopened Novorapid Flexpens should be stored in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) and used within the expiration date. Once in use, the Flexpen can be stored at room temperature (up to 30°C) for a certain period (refer to the product information) and should not be refrigerated. Protect from direct light and do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
