Description Novorapid Flexpen 5X3Ml is a pre-filled insulin pen containing insulin aspart, a rapid-acting insulin analog. This allows for more flexible mealtime dosing, as it can be injected shortly before or even after starting a meal. Novorapid is used to lower blood sugar in adults and children with diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2). It is often used in combination with longer-acting insulin preparations to provide comprehensive blood sugar control throughout the day and night. The “Flexpen” indicates that the insulin is contained in a convenient, pre-filled, disposable pen device for easy injection. The “5X3Ml” signifies that the pack contains 5 Flexpens, each containing 3 milliliters of Novorapid solution. Directions for use: Novorapid Flexpen is injected subcutaneously (under the skin) shortly before (0-15 minutes) or after starting a meal. Typically, unopened Novorapid Flexpens should be stored in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) and used within the expiration date. Once in use, the Flexpen can be stored at room temperature (up to 30°C) for a certain period (refer to the product information) and should not be refrigerated.
