Victoza 6Mg/ml 2X3ml

$42.94 $73.43
Description Victoza 6Mg/Ml 2X3Ml contains liraglutide, a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. It is supplied as a solution for subcutaneous injection in two pre-filled pens, each containing 3 ml of solution with a concentration of 6 mg/ml of liraglutide. Liraglutide works by mimicking the effects of natural GLP-1, a hormone that helps to regulate blood sugar levels. It increases insulin release when blood glucose is high, decreases glucagon secretion, and slows down gastric emptying. Victoza is used to improve blood sugar control in adults, adolescents, and children aged 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, or non-fatal stroke) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus and established cardiovascular disease. Victoza 6Mg/Ml 2X3Ml provides liraglutide in a convenient pre-filled pen for the management of type 2 diabetes, helping to lower blood sugar levels and reduce cardiovascular risk in certain patients. This pack contains two 3 ml pens. Directions for use: Victoza is injected subcutaneously (under the skin) once daily at any time of day, with or without meals. The injection sites can be the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. It is important to rotate injection sites to reduce the risk of skin reactions. Your doctor will instruct you on the correct injection technique and will determine the appropriate starting dose and how to adjust it over time. Typically, treatment starts with a lower dose that is gradually increased to the maintenance dose. Important Information: Victoza is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor if you have any allergies to liraglutide or any other ingredients in the product. Disclose your full medical history, particularly if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), have or have had pancreatitis, severe heart failure, kidney problems, or severe stomach or intestinal problems. Victoza may cause serious side effects, including possible thyroid tumors (including cancer), pancreatitis, low blood sugar (especially if used with other diabetes medications), kidney problems, serious allergic reactions, and gallbladder problems. Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, decreased appetite, indigestion, constipation, and headache. If you experience any signs of serious side effects, seek immediate medical attention. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, as interactions can occur. Keep out of reach of children. Store unused pens in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) and do not freeze. Once in use, the pen can be stored for 30 days at room temperature (below 30°C) or in the refrigerator. Keep the pen cap on when not in use to protect it from light. Do not use Victoza if the solution is cloudy or colored or contains particles.
