Description Panadrex 48Tab contains paracetamol (acetaminophen) as its active ingredient. Paracetamol is a widely used analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins in the brain and spinal cord, which are chemicals that cause pain and fever. Panadrex tablets are used for the relief of mild to moderate pain such as: Headache Toothache Muscle aches and pains Period pain Sore throat Pain and fever associated with colds and flu Post-immunization fever and pain The “48Tab” indicates that the pack contains 48 tablets. Panadrex tablets provide effective relief from mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. Directions for use: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not chew or crush the tablets. Children aged 6 to 11 years: Give ½ to 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not give more than 4 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 6 years unless directed by a doctor. Important Information: Do not take more than the recommended dose. Contains paracetamol; do not take with other products containing paracetamol. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well. Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients in the product. Consult your doctor before use if you have liver or kidney problems. If pain or fever persists for more than a few days, consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
