Description Ozero 90Mg 30Tab contains etoricoxib as its active ingredient. Etoricoxib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that belongs to a class of drugs called selective COX-2 inhibitors (coxibs). It works by blocking the action of an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. By selectively inhibiting COX-2, etoricoxib helps to relieve pain and inflammation with a lower risk of certain gastrointestinal side effects compared to traditional non-selective NSAIDs. Ozero 90mg tablets are used in adults for the relief of: Rheumatoid arthritis (chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints) Ankylosing spondylitis (inflammatory disease affecting the spine) Acute gout (sudden, severe attacks of pain and redness in joints) The “90Mg” indicates the strength of etoricoxib in each tablet, which is 90 milligrams. The “30Tab” signifies that the pack contains 30 tablets. Ozero 90Mg Tablets are indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gout. Directions for use: The usual dose of Ozero 90mg is one tablet once daily for rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. For acute gout, the usual dose is 120 mg once daily for a limited period, followed by 90 mg once daily if needed. Always take Ozero exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help if you experience stomach upset. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control your symptoms. Important Information: Ozero is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to etoricoxib, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any other ingredients in the tablet. Tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have a history of heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, kidney problems, liver problems, stomach ulcers or bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, or asthma. Etoricoxib may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke, and serious gastrointestinal events, such as ulcers, bleeding, or perforation of the stomach or intestines. These events can occur without warning and may be fatal. The risk may be higher in elderly patients and with long-term use. Avoid taking other NSAIDs, including aspirin, while taking Ozero unless directed by your doctor. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, as interactions can occur. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Ozero. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
