Orotix 120Mg 7 Tab

$13.22 $22.74
Description Orotix 120Mg 7Tab contains etoricoxib as its active ingredient. Etoricoxib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that belongs to a class of drugs called selective COX-2 inhibitors (coxibs). It works by blocking the action of an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. By selectively inhibiting COX-2, etoricoxib helps to relieve pain and inflammation with a lower risk of certain gastrointestinal side effects compared to traditional non-selective NSAIDs. Orotix 120mg tablets are used in adults for the relief of: Osteoarthritis (pain and stiffness in the joints) Rheumatoid arthritis (chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints) Ankylosing spondylitis (inflammatory disease affecting the spine) Acute gout (sudden, severe attacks of pain and redness in joints) Moderate to severe post-operative pain following dental surgery The “120Mg” indicates the strength of etoricoxib in each tablet, which is 120 milligrams. The “7Tab” signifies that the pack contains 7 tablets. Orotix 120Mg Tablets are indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in various conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, and post-operative dental pain. Directions for use: The usual dose of Orotix depends on the condition being treated. For osteoarthritis, the recommended dose is typically 30 mg or 60 mg once daily. For rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, the usual dose is 90 mg once daily. For acute gout, the dose is usually 120 mg once daily for a limited period. For post-operative dental pain, the recommended dose is 120 mg once daily for up to 7 days. Always take Orotix exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help if you experience stomach upset. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control your symptoms. Important Information: Orotix is a prescription medication. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to etoricoxib, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any other ingredients in the tablet. Tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have a history of heart problems, stroke, high blood pressure, kidney problems, liver problems, stomach ulcers or bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, or asthma. Etoricoxib may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke, and serious gastrointestinal events, such as ulcers, bleeding, or perforation of the stomach or intestines. These events can occur without warning and may be fatal. The risk may be higher in elderly patients and with long-term use. Avoid taking other NSAIDs, including aspirin, while taking Orotix unless directed by your doctor. Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements, as interactions can occur. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Orotix. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
